Bio: Evelyn Trevino is a prominent professor specializing in Mexican and Texan folklore at the University of Texas at Austin. She was raised by her father who was a member of the SWAT team in Austin, and as such was trained to know how to defend herself. One night while on her way from teaching class to her car she witnessed an attempted abduction of one of her students, who was the child of a state representative. She quickly leaped into action and was able to barely thwart the kidnapping. Vowing to never be caught flat footed again, she took the guise of La Lechza, a shape-shifting witch in Mexican and Tejano folklore that takes the form of a malevolent owl that preys on the fear of her victims.
She Protects the State Capitol and all its denizens.
